Electrical Engineer

About the Role

Responsible for the operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting of electrical systems and equipment to ensure safe, reliable, and uninterrupted plant operations.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and troubleshoot electrical systems, panels, motors, and plant machinery
• Perform preventive and breakdown maintenance of electrical equipment
• Ensure safe operation of electrical installations as per statutory norms
• Monitor power consumption and support energy-saving initiatives
• Coordinate with production and maintenance teams for smooth operations
• Supervise electrical contractors and external service providers
• Maintain electrical drawings, records, and maintenance logs
• Ensure compliance with safety standards, statutory regulations, and audits
• Attend emergency breakdowns and ensure minimal downtime

Qualifications & Experience

• Diploma / B.E. / B.Tech in Electrical Engineering
• 2–4 years of relevant experience in a manufacturing or process industry
• Experience in chemical or continuous process plants will be preferred

Skills & Competencies

• Strong knowledge of industrial electrical systems and equipment
• Hands-on experience with LT panels, motors, MCC, VFD, and control systems
• Knowledge of electrical safety practices and statutory compliance
• Problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
• Ability to work in shifts, if required

Other Requirements

• Familiarity with preventive maintenance systems
• Good communication and coordination skills
